Policy and Scope

The Journal of Health Promotion, Human Performance and Innovation aims to publish high-quality academic and research articles that contribute to knowledge development, innovation creation, and the application of knowledge to enhance health, quality of life, and human potential across all age groups.

The journal welcomes manuscripts related to the following areas:

  • Health Promotion
  • Health Education
  • Physical Education
  • Recreation
  • Sports Science and Exercise
  • Human Performance and Human Capacity Development
  • Health Innovation
  • Educational Technology for Health
  • Public Health and Disease Prevention and Control
  • Health Behaviors and Well-being
  • Rehabilitation and Holistic Health Care
  • Educational Research and Health Innovation Development

Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must comply with research ethics and academic integrity standards.


Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening process by the editorial board to assess their relevance to the journal scope, adherence to manuscript preparation guidelines, and overall academic quality.

Eligible manuscripts are then evaluated by at least three expert reviewers in related fields through a Double-Blind Peer Review process, in which both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to ensure fairness, transparency, and international academic standards.

The editorial decisions are categorized as follows:

  1. Accepted without revision
  2. Accepted with minor or major revisions
  3. Reconsideration after substantial revision
  4. Rejected

The final decision of the editorial board is considered final.


Types of Articles

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Research Articles
  • Academic Articles
  • Innovation or Invention Articles in Health and Education
  • Special Articles / Invited Articles

All manuscripts must provide academic value and demonstrate practical applicability.


Language of Publication

The journal accepts manuscripts in both Thai and English. Thai manuscripts must include an English abstract, while English manuscripts must include a Thai abstract.

All submissions must use clear, accurate, and academically appropriate language. Manuscripts with inadequate language quality may be returned to authors for revision prior to the review process.


Publication Frequency

The journal is published biannually as follows:

  • Issue 1: January – June
  • Issue 2: July – December

Accepted manuscripts that have completed the revision process may be published online prior to the official issue release (Online First).


Journal Owner

The Journal of Health Promotion, Human Performance and Innovation is managed and published by the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University.


Publication Fees

The journal does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, or publication (No Publication Fee) starting from 2026 onward.

Nevertheless, all submitted manuscripts must undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by qualified reviewers in accordance with the journal’s academic standards to ensure the quality and integrity of published articles.
