Abstract

Chronic non-communicable diseases especially diabetes and high blood pressure Found an increasing incidence and trend. Affecting the world Both social and economic This research has the objective to study the results of the program to promote health behavior change. Participation in groups at risk for chronic non-communicable diseases in Kut Chum District, Yasothon Province. The research was a quasi-experimental study of a single sample group, namely 68 people at risk for chronic non-communicable diseases, comparing health behaviors before and after receiving a participatory health behavior change program for a period of 4 months. The research tools include health behavior assessment with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of confidence equal to 0.84. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square, and t-test.

The research results found that before the experiment, the sample group had an average score of health behaviors to prevent chronic non-communicable diseases. is at a higher level than before the experiment Statistically significant at the .05 level. The results of the study show that Program to promote participatory health behavior change, affecting health behavior to prevent chronic non-communicable diseases.
Suggestions for receiving support from family and the community will help make health promotion continuous and sustainable.
