Duties & Ethical Standards of Editors

  • Review and evaluate submitted articles and manuscripts for quality control, relevance and suitability for the publication according to editorial guideline and journal’s target audience.
  • Encourage the authors to revise their work before submitting it for peer review.
  • Coordinate the peer review process, selecting at least 2 appropriate reviewers, and managing the timeline for reviewing process.
  • Oversee the journal's peer review process to align with the journal's objectives and academic standards.
  • Check and ensure that authors make corrections according to the recommendations of reviewers.
  • Consider and make a decision when the article reviewers' comments are different or when articles are not been changed in response to the reviewers' recommendations.
  • Create quality journal standards at each stage of the publishing process.
  • Maintain confidentially of author and reviewer information and documents.
  • Articles and manuscripts must be approved for publication by at least 2 reviewers.
  • Maintain a publication schedule to ensure timely release of articles and manuscripts. Verify the accuracy of data and information presented in the articles and manuscripts.
  • Communicate with authors to provide feedback, request revisions, and guide them through the publication process.
  • Inform the authors about the results of consideration, screening, and reviewing of articles submitted for publication based on academic principles or research methodologies.
  • Inform the authors of the decision in case of reviewers’ disagreement.
  • Inform authors about editor's decision to accept or reject an article for publication based on academic correctness, importance, novelty, and clarity of the research article, as well as the journal’s target audience..
  • Listen to the author's complaints and suggestions in case of a disagreement with the editor's decision.
  • Select reviewers who experts in the field fairly. The double-blinded review system is applied.
  • Post writing instructions, formatting guidelines, article submission rules, and the process for submitting articles for reviewers on the journal's website.
  • Provide advice and coordination between the authors and the reviewers in case of academic disagreements or differences in opinions.
  • Continuously improve the journal's academic quality.

Duties & Ethical Standards of Authors

  • Submit articles and manuscripts for publication according to editorial guideline and journal’s target audience.
  • Revise articles in response to editor and reviewer suggestions and comments. If the proposed issue is not correct, the author may explain reasons to the journal.
  • Avoid plagiarism by properly citing and referencing the work of others. If the percentage of plagiarism exceeds 20%, the author must clarify and correct it.
  • Correct any errors or inaccuracies in their work.
  • Submit revised articles and manuscript through the Thaijo system on time.
  • Research articles must be approved by the research ethics committees.
  • Proof check references and citations for being up-to-date, accuracy and reliability.
  • Authors must not submit the same work to other journals simultaneously.
  • Authors must not copy other people's works.

Duties & Ethical Standards of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts through the Thaijo system.
  • Reviewers should critically evaluate the manuscript's quality, including its methodology, relevance, originality, and contribution to the field. Academic principles take priority over publishing style and proofreading. They should provide constructive feedback and recommendations for revisions, acceptance, or rejection within the specified timeline.
  • Reviewers will not identify themselves with authors based on the double-blind principle.
  • Reviewers will not seek benefits from the authors.
  • Reviewers must evaluate articles fairly and in accordance with academic principles.
  • Reviewers must not coordinate with or contact authors directly. However, if author consultation is required, the editor must serve as the coordinator.
  • The decision to publish the article is the right of the editor.
