1) Letter to the Editor

  • Length: ~500–1,000 words
  • No abstract required
  • References: up to 5

2) Original Article

  • IMRaD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion)
  • IRB approval required
  • Length: ~3,000–4,000 words
  • Thai and English abstracts required
  • References: at least 5

3) Review Article

  • Systematic or narrative reviews from credible sources
  • Length: ~3,000–4,000 words
  • Thai and English abstracts required
  • References: at least 5

4) Pearls & Innovative Technique

  • Technical notes on innovative procedures or adapted techniques
  • Procedural photos and/or video are recommended
  • Length: ~3,000–4,000 words
  • Thai and English abstracts required
  • References: at least 5

5) Case Report / Case Series

  • Rare cases, unexpected adverse events, or challenging cases with clear clinical lessons
  • Patient consent required for publishing identifiable images
  • Length: ~800–1,000 words
  • Thai and English abstracts required
  • References: at least 5

6) General Miscellany

  • Psychological Aspects & Ethics — Length: ~1,000–2,000 words
  • Business & Legal — Length: ~1,000–2,000 words (must align with current regulations)

Publication Frequency

TJCS publishes 4 issues per year:

  • Issue 1: January – March
  • Issue 2: April – June
  • Issue 3: July – September
  • Issue 4: October – December
