บทคัดย่อ

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาสถานการณ์ของสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมของเภสัชกรโรงพยาบาลสังกัดสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุขในประเทศไทย เพื่อเป็นข้อมูลสำหรับการวางแผนพัฒนาศักยภาพในมิติทางวัฒนธรรมแก่เภสัชกรไทยต่อไป วิธีการ: การศึกษาเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวาง โดยใช้แบบประเมินสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมของเภสัชกรไทย (Thai Pharmacists’ Cultural Competency Self-Assessment Scale: TPCCS) สำรวจในกลุ่มเภสัชกรโรงพยาบาลสังกัดสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุขทั่วประเทศไทย ในรูปแบบประเมินออนไลน์ ช่วงเดือนมีนาคม–สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2564 ทำการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นตามเขตบริการสุขภาพ และขนาดโรงพยาบาล เภสัชกรกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมด 241 คน (อัตราตอบกลับร้อยละ 31.26) แบบประเมินประกอบด้วยสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรม 5 มิติ ได้แก่ 1. ความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรม 2. ทักษะเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรม 3. ความรู้เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรม 4. ความสามารถในการเผชิญและการจัดการกับประเด็นทางวัฒนธรรม และ 5. ความปรารถนาที่จะมีสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรม รวม 16 ปัจจัย และ 92 ข้อคำถามเป็นแบบมาตราส่วน 5 ระดับ ตามความสามารถในการปฏิบัติ โดยให้เภสัชกรเป็นผู้ประเมินตนเอง ผลการวิจัย: สมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมของเภสัชกรโดยเฉลี่ยยังอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ค่าเฉลี่ยของแต่ละปัจจัยอยู่ระหว่าง 2.39–4.24 ในมิติการตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมมีบางปัจจัยที่ค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับต่ำ ปัจจัยที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดอยู่ในมิติความปรารถนาที่จะมีสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรม สรุปผล: สมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมของเภสัชกรควรได้รับการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาให้มากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะในมิติความตระหนักรู้ทางวัฒนธรรม ส่วนมิติความปรารถนาที่จะมีสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมมีค่าเฉลี่ยที่สูง อาจเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นที่ดีต่อการพัฒนามิติทางวัฒนธรรมของเภสัชกรต่อไป
