Abstract

The Thai Journal of Rheumatology is committed to serving as a platform for the dissemination of current knowledge, clinical experience, and academic discussion in the field of rheumatology and autoimmune diseases. Through the publication of high-quality review articles, case reports, and educational features, the journal aims to support lifelong learning and promote excellence in patient care.

This issue focuses on clinically relevant topics that physicians commonly encounter in daily practice. The review articles provide updated perspectives on important rheumatologic conditions, including pulmonary arterial hypertension in systemic lupus erythematosus and Carnitine Palmitoyl transferase II deficiency, highlighting current concepts in diagnosis, clinical manifestations, and management. These reviews are intended to bridge recent evidence with practical application in clinical settings.

In addition, this issue presents an instructive case report illustrating the diagnostic challenges of scleroderma-like skin changes, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive clinical assessment and differential diagnosis. The Rheumatology Quiz further complements this issue by encouraging readers to strengthen their diagnostic reasoning through an interactive educational case.

The Editorial Board sincerely hopes that the knowledge shared in this issue will contribute to continuing medical education and support clinicians, trainees, researchers, and allied healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care for patients with rheumatic diseases.
