Abstract

          Actinic Cheilitis (AC) is one of oral potentially malignant disorders, results from long-term or excessive exposure to the ultraviolet component of solar radiation. The lesion of this patient began with dry scaled vermillion border of lower lip. After peeling off the lesion appears to be easily bleeding-raw surface then form crust before peeling off again. The lesion has been persisted for months, refractory to treatment of 0.1% fluocinolone acetonide in orabase. therefore a choice of CO2 laser was recommended. The patient was ready and willing to take this alternative treatment.
