Rapunzel Syndrome in Thai Girl, A Case Report

Abstract

This report of a Thai girl, 4 years and 6 months old came to the hospital because of vomit, dizziness,bloating and deny food. The symptom is worse in 48 hours. The diagnosis is acute small bowel obstruction.Emergency operation found hair ball (trichobezoar) 3x5 cm in size at terminal ilium and it got remove. Mothersaid that she found some hair in her daughter’s feces at 1-2 years old.
