Attitude Toward Appropriate Sexual Behavior of Undergraduate Students in Bangkok Metropolis

Abstract

          Sexual problem in teenage is increasing that may be from the attitude toward sexual behavior. Objective: To study the attitude toward appropriate sexual behavior of undergraduate students in Bangkok metropolis. Material & Method: Four hundred undergraduate students in Bangkok metropolis were interviewed by questionnaires. Results : The average attitude toward to ward appropriate sexual behavior of undergraduate students was 52.34 Their personal factors which affected to the attitude toward appropriate sexual behavior were sex, age, domicile, faculty, class level, sufficient of income, residence, friend characteristics and knowledge of sex education. The authoritative parenting was positively correlated with the attitude toward appropriate sexual behavior. The neglect parenting and media exposure behavior sexual information was negative correlated with the attitude toward appropriate sexual behavior. Conclusion: The attitude to ward appropriate sexual behavior of undergraduate students in Bangkok metropolis was moderate level.
