Corneal Edema deu to Calotropis procera R. Br.

Abstract
Fourteen patients had blurred vision after eyes contact with latex of Calotropis procera R. Br.All of the patients had corneal edema and recived 1 % prednisolone a cetate eye drops plus oral prednisolone 30 mg/day. They recovered from corneal edema and their visual acuity returned to normal in 2-4 days (mean ± SD=3.14 ±0.53 day) after treatment. Sixty four percent of patients couldn't recognized their contact history with Calotropis procera R.Br.
