Tic Disorders in Thai Children

บทคัดย่อ
ผู้รายงานได้รวบรวมรายละเอียดของคนไข้ใหม่ที่ได้รับการวินิจฉัยจากจิตแพทย์ตามเกณฑ์การวินิจฉัย Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders, 4th edition ว่าเป็นโรค Tic disorders ณ คลินิกจิตเวชเด็กและวัยรุ่น สถาบันสุขภาพเด็กแห่งชาติมหาราชินี ในช่วง พ.ศ. 2531-2542 รวม 12 ปี จำนวน 153 รายงาน พบอัตราการเกิดโรคในเพศชายต่อหญิงเท่ากับ 5 :1 ส่วนใหญ่มาพบแพทย์ในช่วงอายุ 8-9 ปี หรือขณะเรียนอยู่ในชั้นประถม ปีที่ 2-3 พบประวัติการเกิดโรคในครอบครัวร้อยละ 9.8 โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่ม Tourette disorders ที่พบได้สูงถึงร้อยละ 21.4 พบ Transient, chronic tic disorders และ Tourette disorders ร้อยละ 37.9, 34.6 และ 27.5 ตามลำดับ พบปัญหาการเรียน ปัญหาอารมณ์และปัญหาพฤติกรรมได้สูงในทั้ง 3 กลุ่มโดยเฉพาะโรคสมาธิสั้นและปัญหาทางอารมณ์จะพบร่วมด้วยกับโรค Tic disorders ได้สูง
