บทคัดย่อ
รายงานผู้ป่วยที่เป็น Testicular torsion จำนวน 14 ราย ซึ่งเข้ามารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลมหาราชนครราชสีมา ในระหว่างปี พศ 2529-พ.ศ. 2534 พบว่าสามารถผ่าตัดเก็บลูกอัณฑะที่บิดของผู้ป่วยได้เพียง 4 ราย ส่วนอีก 10 รายต้องตัดลูกอัณฑะที่บิดจนมีสีดำคล้ำทิ้งไป ผู้ป่วยที่ถูกตัดลูกอัณฑะทิ้งนั้น ส่วนใหญ่ได้รับการวินิจฉัยที่ผิดพลาดมาก่อนจึงทำให้มารับการผ่าตัดที่ล่าช้าเกินไป
