Publication Ethics

Editor Ethics

  1. Editors must not have any conflicts of interest with the authors or the reviewers of the articles.
  2. Editors must protect the confidentiality of the authors' information and not disclose it to any parties not involved in the review process.
  3. Editors must evaluate the quality of submitted articles and ensure that they have not been previously published elsewhere.
  4. Editors must consider publishing works with correct research methodology and reliable results.
  5. Editors must strictly check for plagiarism. If plagiarism is detected, the evaluation process must be immediately suspended, and the author must be contacted to reject the publication.
  6. Editors can withdraw an article without the author's consent if it is found to have improperly copied another's work or contains false or fabricated information, even if the author refuses to withdraw the article.

Reviewer Ethics

  1. Reviewers must not have any conflicts of interest with the authors or editors.
  2. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the authors' information and not disclose it to any unrelated parties from the time they accept the article for review until it is published.
  3. Reviewers should only accept to review articles in their field of expertise.
  4. If during the review process, reviewers find any part of the article to be similar to or overlapping with the work of others, they must notify the editor.

Author Ethics

  1. Authors must consider whether their article involves research and experiments on humans or animals that may affect the rights, dignity, well-being, or safety of people. If the research involves human or animal subjects, authors must attach a certificate of research ethics approval. The final decision to publish the article rests with the editorial board.
  2. Authors must not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
  3. Articles submitted to the journal must not have been previously published elsewhere.
  4. Authors must consider the journal's objectives and ensure their article aligns with them.
  5. The corresponding author must list all individuals who actually contributed to the article.
  6. Authors must not include any false, fabricated, or distorted information in the article.
  7. Authors must use the article writing and referencing templates specified by the journal and ensure all sections are complete and accurate.
  8. Authors must not plagiarize the work of others.
  9. When using content, images, or tables from the work of others, authors must provide complete citations both in-text and in the references section.
  10. Authors must disclose any research funding sources (if applicable) and/or conflicts of interest in the article and inform the editorial board.
