THE DEVELOPMENT OF READING AND LEARNING PROMOTION IN SINGAPORE

Abstract

This article describes the development of Singapore's reading and learning culture. The beginning of this effort was born from the commitment of the country's leaders with a vision to develop human resources by promoting reading and learning through various activities and projects, as well as creating and supporting learning resources Singaporeans, especially the National Library of Singapore which operates under the management of the National Library of Singapore Board. The committee plays an influential role in developing Singapore's learning ecosystem, including various fascinating lifelong learning resources such as museums, art galleries, botanical gardens, zoos, etc., which are part of the learning ecosystem that promotes lifelong learning.
