DEVENLOPMENT OF TEACHING MATERIALS FOR THE SUBJECT OF DRAFTING PERSPECTIVE FOR VOCTIONAL CERTIFCATE STUDENTS (VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF THE FIRST YEAR.) DESIGN DEPARTMENT

Abstract

This research aimes to develop, evaluate the quality, find the efficiency, compare the academic achievement befor and afterstudying and evaluate the satisfaction of student who studied using the learning materialsof , the subject of drafting, visualization of the first year vocational certificate students. The sample gr oup used in this research was the first year vocational certificate students (Vocational Certificate, V.C.) in the design department, art subject type, first year who registered for the subject of drafting visualization in the first semster of the academic year 2022, totaling 30 people, obtained bypurposive sampling, which was the group that the researcher taught. The research instruments used in the studyconsisted of the quality assessment from  of the learning materials for experts and teachers, the learning materials, 6 unit of learning materials, the 30-itemachievement test that had been evaluated for quality with a reliability value (Kr-20) of 0.620,  the difficulty index (D) of 0.58, the discrimination index (V) of 0.45, and the student satisfaction assessment from for the documents. The learning instrument has a Cronbach’s coefficient of reliability (x) equal to 0.859.

            The research method     was conducted by taking the develop drawindg learning materials and testing them with a sample group. Befor the study, the researcher had the students take an achievement test. During the study, the students took the pre-test and the post-test of each unit. After completing each unit, the research had the students take the acchievement test again.  The scores from the pre-test and  post-test of each unit and the scores from acchievement test were analyed to find the efficiency and compars the acchievement results. In the last week of the teaching and learning, the research had the students evaluate their satisfaction with the learning materials. The data obtained from the responses. The student questionnaires were used  to annalyze the level of student satisfaction with the developed teaching materials. The research results can be summarized as follows:

           1.The quality of the documents for the study of  visualization drawing according to the

Opinions of experts is at the highest level overall (x=4.56, SD=0.57) in accordance with the hypothesis.

2.The quality of the teaching document for the subject of visualization drawing in accordance the teachers is at the highest level (x=4.54, SD=0.50) in accordance with the hypothesis.

1. The study document for thr subject of visualization drawing have an efficiency of 81.37/85.56, which is higher than the standard criteria of 80/80.
2. Compare the learning achievement results before and after studying with the supporting document of the study of the subject of visual Science Drawing ( t-test Dependent) found that the scores after studyjng were sicnificantly higher than befor studying at the statistical level of .05, in accordance with the hypothesis.
3. The student satisfaction with the learning materials of the subject of Visual Science Drawing was at a high level of satisfaction (x=4.48, SD.=0.65 ) in accordance with the hypothesis.
