Risk Factors for Satisfaction in Providing Service on Primary Health Center at Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province

Abstract

                This survey researchaimed to study the level of service satisfaction and to study the related factors on service satisfaction in the primary health care unit of Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. 400 sampleswereselected using simple random sampling from peoples who had received health care services in the primary health care unit.3 questionnaires were conducted, includingthe general information questionnaire, the receiving health care services information questionnaire,and the servicesatisfaction of the primary health care unit questionnaire. The data were analyzed using percentages, mean, standard deviation, and chi-square.

                This research found that the levels of overall satisfaction are at a high level which an average (x̄=4.16). The highest Satisfaction of location and environment (x̄=4.27). and the lowest Satisfaction of hospitable and attention of staff   (x̄=4.06). When comparing the relationship of personal factors with Services satisfaction of the Primary Health Care Units of Thong Pha Phum District, in Kanchanaburi province. Agricultural occupation (x̄=16.74), elementary education or less (x̄=5.8), monthly income 7,501-10,000 bath (x̄=68.81) have statistical significance result at p<0.05 related to Services satisfaction of the Primary Health Care Units of Thong Pha Phum District in Kanchanaburi Province. For gender, age and marital status were not related with the Services satisfaction of primary health care units of Thong Pha Phum District in Kanchanaburi Province.
