Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research. The objective was to study the results of the preparation program for pregnant women undergoing cesarean section. in Yasothon Hospital By measuring anxiety before and after giving the preparation program. Evaluate the behavior and occurrence of panic attacks in pregnant women when receiving spinal anesthesia. The sample group is There were 70 pregnant women who met the specified qualifications, divided into a control group and an experimental group of 35 people each, who received treatment at Yasothon Hospital between October - November 2023. Tools used in conducting the research. together with Preparatory program before receiving spinal anesthesia, such as videos and oral lectures, etc.


and the tools used to collect data include personal data records. Anxiety assessment form (State-Trait Anxiety) Behavior assessment form and panic assessment form The data was analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation values. and compare data with Pair t-Test and Independent t-Test statistics.


The results of the study found that Anxiety scores after receiving the preparation program were lower than before receiving the preparation program. Statistically significant (p < 0.05) and after receiving the preparation program, the experimental group had lower anxiety scores than the control group that received normal nursing care. Statistically significant (p < 0.05). The research results indicate that The preparedness program developed is effective in reducing anxiety among pregnant women patients. Reduce the occurrence of panic attacks and leads to correct behavior when undergoing surgery Nurses can apply the preparedness program to current patient visits. To increase effectiveness, reduce patient anxiety.
