Abstract

COVID-19 is an emerging infectious disease caused by the SAR-CoV-2 virus that has spread throughout the world. It is an important public health problem. Because the infection spreads quickly and complications in the respiratory system can easily and severely cause patients to have a high death rate. In addition, patients with severe symptoms often need to be assisted by the use of a ventilator. This causes a risk of pneumonia and drug-resistant infections. Therefore, the role of nurses in preventing the spread of infection crisis resolution prevention of complications, rehabilitation, health promotion and distribution planning accurate and fast. This will give the patient a chance to recover from the disease and reduce complications that will occur as a result.
